This product does not have Kia software and is not programmable. Save yourself unnecessary frustration and don't buy this.

Took it to the dealer, in half an hour they were able to program and were working fine. They seem a little thin but they seem fine.

Works like the original. You need to check the details and make sure the P/N matches the remote you are replacing. I took the remote to my local Kia dealer and they were able to program it for $65.

This is a key fob for 2009 Kia Sorrento. I got it to replace the one my parents are using now. This particular year must be programmed by the dealer using a special tool that requires a small fee. The item was delivered quickly and works as expected.

There should be a stronger warning that the dealer needs to program! Instead I will try to put the old parts in this case. haven't tried it yet. the quality is good, but the stress and the additional payment is not worth it for me. (Maybe it's still cheaper to go this route than going through the dealer for a new key fob).
