I bought 2. Keeps my kids lunches a good temp for lunch. It's not hot, hot but definitely not cold or cool. Perfect temp for eating by the time lunch rolls around. The spoon is handy and the whole thing cleans easily. Fits in their lunch boxes perfectly. Would order again if they lost it but I plan to use these for years to come in their lunches. Good for soups, casseroles, spaghetti, spaghetti O's, etc.

This keeps things hot for my son's lunches. I've used it with mac and cheese, chili, and soups and it saves him time from having to microwave stuff. My son is 15 and it holds enough for his main dish. Instructions say to fill with hot water for 10 minutes before adding hot food and if you do that it works GREAT. Perfect little food container to keep the food warm for kids' lunches at school. The only gripe I hear from the kids is that the spoon is very difficult to take out of the top.I can confirm, it takes a damn pry bar to get the spoon out.

I use this for soup or hot food to take to work. It keeps the food warm, it does lose heat as time goes on but after 5 or 6 hours is still pretty warm. I love using this thermous.

This is a great school thermos. Food has stayed hot within a 5-6 hour window. My daughter loves that is has its own spoon. I gave it 4 stars because the vacuum seal/valve in the lid doesn't work and liquids do slightly leak out of the valve. I don’t like using the microwave to heat food, so this is great for me. I use an electric tea kettle to heat the water, fill the container and let the hot water sit in the container while I’m heating up soup (or whatever I’m heating up) for lunch. I usually just put the food on low and finish getting ready for work, stirring every now and again. We will warm things up for the kids’ lunches in the morning and it’s still hot/warm when they go to eat in the afternoon. Perfect solution since microwaves aren’t available.

Works pretty well as far as what my sons told me. He wanted to take soup to school so we ordered this for him and he said it stays warm! I use boiling water to warm it up before using it. Only real complaint is the spoon it comes with doesn’t fit in the little slot that it’s made for. Not a big deal, I just don’t use the spoon and send him with a different one instead.

I was kind of iffy buying a thermos for work, but I’m glad I went with this one I can keep my food really hot by the time I go on break and I keep it in my car in 20 degree weather and it stays hot! I’m very impressed!
