Great quality but small utensils -

I do like the quality and the sturdiness of the plates and utensils. This is a better option over plastic ware. I did take away one star as the utensils are small in my opinion. Perfect for kindergarten children and not for adults. Not what I expected but still great quality.

Pros
  • As good as described!
Cons
  • The plates are sturdy; not so with the plastic flatware.

Surprisingly sturdy plates…

I wasn’t sure if the dinnerware would hold up with heavier food, but it was great. Knowing that they are made from biodegradable products made it even more desirable. Utensils were also very sturdy. Very happy with purchase, will reorder again.

Pros
  • Stylish
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less suitable for use with foods that require complex or intricate presentations

Thumbs up for product thumbs down for packaging.

I was completely happy with the quality of these, however as a company that is selling an eco-friendly product I was disappointed that the utensils came packaged in plastic. It seemed a bit silly to have a biodegradable product that was packaged in plastic.

Pros
  • I like the paper items, but the spoon, forks and knives were not sturdy at all and a bit small
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less durable and prone to damage

AMAZING PRODUCT: my feedback

I loved this set. The plates were the perfect size for my guests and had all the utensils we needed as well. I more so loved the fact that this was all biodegradable so I felt great using these verses the other options. 10/10 I definitely recommend!

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • These plates may not be as eco-friendly as advertised if they are not disposed of properly

Good but not great.

Not much to say about disposable plates and cutlery. except to say that while the plates are sturdy and hold up pretty well, the cutlery is flimsy and doesn't stand up to any amount of heat before it gets flimsy.

Pros
  • Compostable: These utensils are made of material that decomposes naturally, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them more difficult to dispose of properly

Great Eco-Friendly Option!

We bought this dinnerware set to lighten the workload a little when the whole family came down with COVID. I am an environmentally friendly person, but in a moment of exhaustion and desperation, I resigned myself to searching Walmart for paper plates. I was so relieved to come across this option and know that there IS a way to reduce the amount of dishes/work/expended energy while also looking out for the environment. The plates have been sturdy enough for our needs, and I love that they can…

Pros
  • Saves water
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less suitable for use with foods that require heavy seasoning or spice

Desperately Needed in a House w/ COVID

Multiple people in this house. Some healthy, some w/ COVID. And Me, doing chores while having low energy. These make the journey SO much easier.

Pros
  • Durable & Sturdy Plates - The heavy-duty plates are oil-resistant and designed without any coating, good for hot & cold foods, and safe for freezer & microwave. Can hold lots of food without breaking or soaping through.
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less suitable for use with acidic foods

This has quickly become my nee party go-to, when I have social gathering I always order a pack. I really like this product.

  • BPA Free
Cons

Good quality but leaves residue on table

Very good quality plates and utensils. We used them for Thanksgiving and they stood up to heavy usage. The only problem I had with them is when they were hot they left a residue on my dining room table that I can't seem to remove. I'm hoping that if I try some other methods of cleaning that maybe the residue will come off. Other than the residue I like the plates.

Pros
  • Read the description well if you like a larger dinner plate this is not the plate for you!
Cons
  • These plates and utensils may not be as versatile as traditional plastic dinnerware

The product worked great for our friendsgiving. Loved the size and quality of the plates. The utensils are kind of small but no complaints on quality! The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 instead of 5 stars is because they came wrapped in plastic. Which kind of defeats the purpose of buying a compostable dinner set. I would recommend being 100% environmentally friendly and stop using plastic wrap.

Pros
  • Easy to store
Cons
  • The white color of the plates may not be as visually striking or appealing as other colors or patterns

Packaging needs improvenent

My daughter said she had to toss some of the plates because they were dusty and some of the flatware was missing. I sent bowls from the same company too; same thing. Packaging was very flimsy and open. Otherwise it's a good value for the money. FP

Pros
  • 250
Cons
  • These plates may not be as heat-resistant as traditional plastic dinnerware

sturdier than expected

These plates and utensils were strudier than expected. I like that they are recyclable. Although plates were thin they were quite sturdy. Very good value for the price.

Pros
  • Nice disposable set
Cons
  • These plates and utensils may not be suitable for use with tougher or harder-to-cut foods

Strong and great value

The plates felt thicker than the usual disposable paper plates (like wayyy better than the ones you get at a pizza restaurant). Piled high with food they still didn't bend at all. Great for my party.

Pros
  • Yes
Cons
  • These plates may not be as stable or level as traditional plastic dinnerware

Definitely a winner

I am so glad I got these! They went so well with the theme and they’re so sturdy! They are the perfect size for me (smaller plates). I was worried the food would soak through since it’s a paper like material but it didn’t . These are very durable and I will definitely buy more. Bonus points for helping the environment!

Pros
  • In addition to being biodegradable, these utensils can also be recycled if necessary
Cons
  • The cutlery may not be as comfortable to hold as traditional metal utensils

Perfect for our needs

We had an impromptu gathering on our block for two graduating seniors since traditional grad parties a no go with Covid. These worked perfect for our needs. We served hamburgers, hotdogs, salads and dessert which included ice cream on a very hot day. Played held up great. Spoons and forks are quite as strong.

Pros
  • Solid
Cons
  • These plates may not be as aesthetically pleasing as traditional plastic dinnerware

Cutlery a little tiny

The plates are sturdy and amazing! The cutlery was a little short compared to others. More like toddler size cutlery. The compostable nature of these plates may make them less hygienic than traditional plastic dinnerware.

Pros
  • Durable: Despite being disposable, these eco-friendly plates and cutlery are surprisingly sturdy and can handle heavy meals without breaking
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less hygienic than traditional plastic dinnerware

Maybe good for kids.

Just arrived. When I opened the Walmart shipping box, I found a box that someone else had received before me. The actual product box had a halfway peeled off shipping label stuck to it. That box had already been opened. The dinnerware appears to be untouched, still sealed in their plastic bags. The dinnerware is very small. Bought this for Thanksgiving. Plates not big enough to hold a Thanksgiving meal. I did remove the plates from the bags and they do seem sturdy though. The utensils are TINY…

Pros
  • Wedding, Picnic, Camping, Thanksgiving
Cons
  • These plates may not be as resistant to bending or warping as traditional plastic dinnerware

Very Sturdy & Durable!

We used this product for a large family gathering. All pieces are very sturdy and love that they are compostable & sustainable. Will get these again. The eating utensils give the appearance of a strong plastic, and they are sturdy. The plates are quite thick and very strong/durable - they do not fold/bend in your hands and no leakage from sauces, etc.

Pros
  • It's a genuine product. It's very convenient for a party.
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less suitable for use with wet or saucy foods

Best choice for party supplies

These were for a social distance gathering— that they were from a sustainable source was why I bought them, and my guests were also impressed with sustainable plates that can be easily composted.

Pros
  • Silverware is a little flimsy but love that facet that its all biodegradable!
Cons
  • The compostable nature of these plates may make them less suitable for serving hot or acidic foods
