Doesn't hold the pillow well at all.

Terrible. . . . I've been using them for 20 years. In this version, the small "hooks" that attach to the pillow like Velcro are too short and can't grab the pillow and really hold it in place. Very frustrating. . . I will try the next more expensive version and write a review. An exercise in frustration during a big job.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Worked great for cabinet hardware

It was a lot cheaper than the famous brand. Used it to clean the bottom of the second floor gutters. Worked well but sometimes it was a bit difficult to get the alignment right on a long stick. Once you get the hang of it, it will work. I just couldn't afford the brand name. I used a white pad, the other is very good for very dirty stuff but not aluminum gutters.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Difficult to hold wet pods

I was a bit disappointed with the grip of this pod holder. I'm using it on an outside wall, which can be a problem. This will likely work much better on soils that use less water. If you submerge the entire pad in water, the wet pad may fall off before you can place it on a vertical surface. Brown pads, whether wet or dry, are much more prone to falling off than white pads. The pad retainer turns well, but it really needs more pad grip.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires base
