Look harder for the right fit, it's not!

Do you REALLY need matching hole patterns?!? Sigh. Serious! Obviously I had to drill the correct position of the screw holes, which is annoying as hell. It WOULD be nice and easy if the flanges were in one place! But the flange of this universal filter is too small and too high. This becomes a problem when you want to put the lid back on! You want to be able to use one of the vent tube holes as the first screw hole but can't because it sits too high and you forget to put the cap back on! It…
