Do you REALLY need matching hole patterns?!? Sigh. Serious! Obviously I had to drill the correct position of the screw holes, which is annoying as hell. It WOULD be nice and easy if the flanges were in one place! But the flange of this universal filter is too small and too high. This becomes a problem when you want to put the lid back on! You want to be able to use one of the vent tube holes as the first screw hole but can't because it sits too high and you forget to put the cap back on! It won't work, period. There is simply no more space at the top of the filter. It won't sit well on top if you get the lace pattern in the best position, but it can be done. It shouldn't be too damn hard. I WILL NOT DO THIS AGAIN! It's a fact! Too much time and effort for something that should be SO PERFECTLY easy! I believe it says it is non-refundable which is HUMAN unless you have altered or used it! Where's that middle finger emoji when you need it?!?Oh, and a new pad doesn't cost anything either. Forget about it when drilling a new pattern. Not suitable. Another fun fact. Better choose a higher tier and make 100% sure the bolt holes match without drinking! The only positive thing I would like to say is that the filter material itself is actually of surprisingly good quality. A mesh over any material allows this filter to be washed and reused compared to paper filter media. Reminds me of a K&N reusable filter. Pretty good IF you can put the screw holes in the right places!
