I just received this literally just now. I almost bought the Luminara candles but they are too expensive and from reading the reviews and videos, the flame dances a lot compared to these. I'm so glad I went ahead and bought these for more than half of what I would've paid for Luminara candles. These are super nice and looks high quality. They are made of real wax and have a remote control, which is great! However, the warmth is way too much, real candles do not burn in such a stark orange tone (see pictures). Also, candles both flicker and twinkle, and I can only choose to have the "flame” move or to see fire’s change in intensity as it "burns”. It is packaged very well to avoid damaging the shape. Do not come with the candle’s batteries (6x AA). Would buy dozens of them if the warmth and twinkle+flicker where accurate. I know…

Update: Since my first purchase, I’ve purchased several more sets in all different sizes to place in varying areas of my house. I absolutely LOVE these candles. They’re perfect. Today though, I received another order of this particular set (after waiting for weeks for them to come back into stock) and they are YELLOW - like Marigold yellow. They’re not ivory at all. All of the other sets (ordered at various times) are identical in color and are a beautiful ivory. These are a hideous yellow. Bad

This is a brilliant flameless candle! Different than the typical blinking ones you typically see. It’s got some sort of floating piece that has more random movement. Very pleased with this purchase and plan to buy more of these!So far so good on the battery life. I have it set to come in for 4 hours each night. All candles light up but one doesn't flicker. Mode control on remote doesn't work. attractive candle but wish that all of them would flicker.

Love these candles. I put them inside some decorative lanterns and they look so real. In fact when my four year old grand daughter saw them she was trying to blow them out. The outside is real candle wax and smells like vanilla.

Looks great, easy set up, but these do have wax. I put mine in a hurricane lamp on top of my backyard table, and within 2-3 weeks the top of one of them softened enough for the flicker to loosen and sink into the candle. I don't think there is a way to fix it. So bummed. It looked really nice.

Excellent flame and overall appearance! Remote control works very well to control on time from 2 to 8 hours and has a good brightness range control. The exterior is wax, so it does appear to be a real candle. The flame is above the top of the wax body which makes the flame more visible from all sides compare to other candles where the flame is below the sides and is not directly visible. I was pleasantly surprised. I questioned it because I didn't like the plastic "flame" but once I put it on to test it, I realized how realistic it looked. I was VERY skeptical but it won me over. I highly recommend it and I am very happy with my purchase.
