I purchased this knowing it would probably be more 'rustic' looking than I wanted. I had planned to make one myself, but the price for this one was too reasonable to pass up. When it arrived the next day, I used wide painters tape to wrap the rope tightly just above the holes, then slid the rope through, so the painters tape would be on either side of the hole to protect it. These shelves were exactly what I was looking for to place plants and other knick knacks on in my new apartment without a lot of floor space. The shelves are well constructed and seem to hold a lot of weight without being too heavy themselves. The color of the wood and rope gives the piece a nice rustic look, and matches any decor. As a bonus, it comes with the hooks for hanging, and the installation was so easy. I highly recommend this product!

This shelving unit is just wonderful! The hooks were fine (other reviewers had said they weren't). I am creating a "guestroom" in an unfinished basement and needed something lightweight that could hang from a rafter. As others had mentioned, I used strong double sided tape on the bottom shelf to prevent any movement. All my shelves were straight and the rope knots did not require any adjustment. I bought this so I could have more space for my plants and am pleased with the weight it can hold and how it good it looks. It also is easy to install because you only have to put two hooks in the wall. The only thing that I would suggest is if you needs lots of space then this might be too small for you. Overall I enjoy my purchase.

I was in the market for a shelf to house some of my smaller plants and saw that Potey made one. Since I know they make an excellent product based off multiple pots I own of theirs, I decided to purchase this shelf. I’m really happy I did bc not only does it look really cute on my wall, but it is also super sturdy. I have mine indoors, but I’m planning to get a second one to put outdoors since I love it so much! I was impressed by how smoothly the wood was finished. All edges are sanded cleanly, even the holes. There aren't any rough edges. The corners and sides are sharp and even. The cords are threaded underneath and the ends are tucked, so there are no frayed ends or knots showing underneath the wood board. It's a very clean design and surprisingly well made.

I have plants that need a window. This was the perfect solution. It was easy to install but it does take a little work to get it even. I would not trust anything heavy on this. Its very small, I placed it in front of the smallest window I have above my sink and I mainly got it because that side of the house barely gets sun. I just cut one of the shelves out because it was too long. Overall it works and its what I thought I wanted for the look. Great little macrame shelf perfect for small plants or trinkets. I appreciate that hanging hardware, including drywall anchors and hooks, are included. I hung one on my reinforced curtain rod to get the plants a bit of extra light this winter, and the other is the perfect fit for a strange little nook in our old home. Agree with the reviewer who says it’s satisfactory but overpriced. The photos that (digitally) show books and plants on these shelves set unrealistic expectations of what they will actually hold. I put a candle on one shelf and everything else on the other two shelves shifted, so you have to be very careful with weight distribution. But it’s the perfect size for above the toilet in my bathroom.

These are so cute & come ready to hang straight out of the box. Surprisingly lightweight yet they hold a good deal of weight. It helps to balance the weight on each shelf but that’s not too hard to do. I really liked these floating shelves. A nice rustic look they fit in nicely in my garden greenhouse.the shelves are sturdy enough of hold small knickknacks or plants with small pots.The rope knots sometimes do not stay out after a few hours and seem to loosen, but re-tightening seems to work well.
