I recently purchased a 2007 Ford Mustang GT. Has always been kept indoors and the soft top is original and still in perfect condition. BUT it was medium gray and not black so I did a little research on how to handle a 15 year old vinyl top and found this product. Easy to use and very effective. Cleaning and Care Set 303 is a great success, I tried it as soon as I received it. I was nervous at first, I did a small test patch on my convertible top that surprised me. I finished the entire top and stepped back to look at it and I couldn't get a grin off my face. i love 303 products, i grew up with armor and this thing blows armor out of the water. This kit contains two bottles, a detergent and a protectant. I already had a bottle of protector so I could have just gotten a bottle of cleaner instead of buying a kit but the protector will get used to it sooner or later. I used the cleaner on a used top I had just installed on my car and then put the car through the car wash and then put a protective film on when I got home. My top looks almost new now.

I bought a 1 year old convertible with a light top. It was poorly maintained as it was rented out and probably washed down with soapy water. The top has discolored and mold is forming. I have not tried any other boot lid cleaner/guard but this one was really easy to use and the results were very good. I have a 4 year old cover that has not been treated before. I ordered this product for my 1999 Mercedes SL500 convertible. The soft top was in perfect condition except for a small leak at the window seams. I put on the top and washed it off and it washed off very easily. Used about half a bottle at a time. You can see it lifts the water well.
