If, like many, you are a Toyota Corolla 05-08

If you're like many Toyota Corolla 05-08 owners, you've probably lost one or both of these fog lamp covers on your car. It's the perfect cheap replacement for those who don't like to see what's behind their bumper. This one is for the left side.

Pros
  • owner, the products listed are aftermarket parts and any reference to vehicle manufacturer names and vehicle models is solely for the convenience of buyers to determine the applicable scope of such parts, and is not used in any way as a trademark
Cons
  • Good but not great

Doesn't fit well on body

Difficult to install, had to reach into fog light compartment and press tab on outside of cover to snap into place. After you snap it all up, it looks chunky and doesn't fit as well as the original. You can pry it open with your finger because one of the corners is not flush. Worried it might come loose when going over bumps or when driving fast

Pros
  • Meets applicable DOT regulations
Cons
  • Interval

The latch is tricky but still seems good.

Make sure you fully insert the tab. Then press the bumper insert all the way down until it snaps into place. At first I thought it was locked but it wasn't, be careful. It should click into place. I would crawl under the car and make sure. There are two latches. My bottom one snapped normally, but the top one didn't snap at all. However, it looks pretty reliable. EDIT: I ended up securing the insert by drilling a hole in the "fin" on the back and threading a zip tie through the hole and a handy

Pros
  • Part number: 312-2506L-UD
Cons
  • Out of style
