This is very study and will definitely hold some handlebars down which is why I bought it. BUT i was wrong with the setup of how it is and wont fit my beach cruiser which is probably entirely my fault anyways. But I have it for my next motorized bicycle build and itll look awesome and almost 100% it'll exceed that and do its job!Good Buy all and all

This replaced the stock stem on my 2016 Specialized Rockhopper, and I love it, but the cap that clamps on the handlebars is clearly skewed, like the holes aren't aligned correctly on the cap. So far it works fine and I don't think it'll impact its effectiveness, but beware.Also I thought it would be a simple replacement, but the part that clamps to the fork is skinnier that the previous one, so I had to buy spacers.

I got this to move the handlebars closer to the rider on my girlfriends 29er and lighten the bike up a little. She rides rail trails and dirt roads. I can't believe how inexpensive parts like this have become! This is high quality and very light. Super easy to install. I would not use this for down-hilling or ramming around in the woods but that's not what it's for. Be sure to measure your handlebar and steer tube diameters so it will fit what you have.

I bought this product because I needed the shortest stem possible for a Fuji Gran Fondo that I own and this seemed to fit that requirement. I found this stem to be well made and certainly very strong although it is alittle heavy for those who are weight conscious. I got this to shorten the cockpit of my son's 20" MTB. Does exactly what I needed and no issues with the screws or clamp force. These stems are a great way to get a quality, alloy stem for an awesome price. Perfect for an everyday rider or someone who rides more aggressively. Now, I don’t know if you want to do hardcore downhill with these, but for most people, they are perfect!

It is what it is advertised and it is very inexpensive. Bike parts, over the last 10ish years, have gotten so expensive. Nice that there are some inexpensive solid parts available.

Bought three of these and two out of the three the Allen bolts stripped out when tightening them up.I used to park tool allen wrench and the proper tool it's the bolts that are cheap

I bought this short stem to replace the long one on my wife’s road bike to give her a comfortable reach. It does the job nicely. I had to buy spacers because this one is lower than the original. Also the bolts for the plates do not look that strong. I ended up using those on the original stem instead.

I changed my mtb stem on my Motobecane Fantom DS from a 90mm it came with to this 45mm stem. I just had to add a spacer to raise it to where I had my previous stem and it works great. My steering feels quicker and the cockpit is closer to me so I'm sitting in a more upright position. I think this stem looks cool.

I received a bad batch. If you look at the photo, stem and clamp do not align correctly. Left and right thickness is noticeably different. It could be a safety hazard.Update: received a replacement and the parts looks much better. Thank you

I like that it is light weight and feels good. I would like to see some split lock washers on the screws and maybe some loctite on the threads. Most brands come standards with those.

Does not accept normal size handle bars. It's shorter than the other clamp on stems I own. It's Lighter if that's a good thing on a motor bicycle.

This stem is solid and equivalent to other stem costing triple and more. Really helps improve ride comfort by bringing you to a more upright position.

What can I say, for the price you can’t beat it. This is definitely worth it if your on a budget. Easy to put on but don’t forget extra spacers unless you don’t mind cutting down the tube a bit. I upgraded to different forks so I had to do that anyway. Over all I’m happy with it and would buy again for another budget build. I do recommend an upgrade as skill level improves though
