The string is possibly not high quality

I loved loved the differentiation between the colors. There were so many to choose from. I loved how they were pre wounded in the box, and how there were extras outside of the box. I used this product for friendship bracelets and I was surprised with the quality and not in the best way. When I was using the string and tying the knots, it felt as if the sting would snap in half. I also felt like the string I was provided was thicker than normal, which made it extremely difficult to tie knots.

Not Cotton Thread, But Very Good Kit

This is polyester floss. I did the burn test on both the thread on the bobbins and the refill bag. They both melted. So, even though it acts and looks like cotton floss, this would not be what you use if you want to embroider something on clothes that would need to be ironed because it would turn into a melted mess.Other than that, it is a really good kit. Very nice set and great value

I was very pleasantly surprised at what a nice set this is and what a great value it is. There is a great selection of thread of a pretty good quality, and there were several very useful accessory items (although the clipper/scissors was not really functional). There are enough supplies to get a beginner up and running immediately. All you need in addition to this set is an embroidery hoop and a better pair of scissors to clip the thread. This is an excellent set for the money.

Thrilled with this set!

My sister and I are just learning to embroider to enhance fabric crafts. I was really looking for a storage bin to start collecting my floss in, but this seemed like such a good deal I got the whole shebang. I’m still laughing about what I will do with ALL the color choices - and, as the box comes full, I will still have to find an empty box for the few floss colors I’ve already purchased lol.I was thinking I would give the extras to my grandkids, who are forever making beautiful friendship…

Good value in my review

Lots of colors and although some are already wound on plastic holders, it took me hours to finish the rest. Plus I had to buy more holders and more storage containers. Don’t know about the quality yet as I haven’t had time to use them but will update review once I do.

Dull needles best in my review

This kit is a great idea! The selection of colors is nice, the amount of items that come with are good 👍. The strawberry isn’t for sharpening the needles and the needles are dull, which could be discouraging to a beginner, and not very giftable

Good for the money - my new review

I am happy with this purchase overall. The only problem was the scissor snips was cracked in the handle but amazon made it right. otherwise, I like the amount of floss you get with this package, the organizer is great and all of the bobbins and other notions is fantastic too. All in all great package.

Great value and quality

I didn't realize that the organizer came prefilled AND with a huge bag of replacement thread! The thread is not DMC but is numbered and the ones I've used for cross stitching are nice and smooth. I'm very satisfied with the products included and would purchase again!
