🔧 39-Piece Air Conditioning Valve Core A/C R12 R134a Refrigeration Tire Valve Stem Cores Remover Toolkit Review

Worked on my Honda Odyssey 06. We replaced the AC condenser (also from Amazon) on our Odyssey, refilled the r134a and Schrader valves both up and down even low started leaking immediately Low connections. Bought this set, everything works great. It was exactly the size I needed.

I had a very slow leak on the high side. Used this kit to replace both valves. My cars are over 15 years old. So if the pressure in the air conditioning system should drop, save yourself the trouble in the future and replace BOTH valves. O-rings in the valve will harden over time and leak.

I use this kit when I have a leaking r134a air conditioning valve. Many years ago they sold a small kit of parts in the Autozone. Now you have to buy it or take it off each valve and still buy them individually. So far the valves in this kit have been good and worked fine even at the really high pressure Nissan limit.

False advertising! The picture of this kit shows the parts list on the lid, which lists 10 pieces. for Peugeot valve cores, which is a lie. The kit only contains 5 parts for Peugeot and there is no parts list label on the cover of the kit as shown in the picture. Count your parts! Luckily I needed Eaton valves.

A month ago I replaced the high and low pressure valves with the 2 valve cores from this kit. The valves hold up fine. The wider groove in the tool flared out a bit, but the core of my high pressure valve was very tight - the pliers on the tool handle are tight. I will look for the best tool but at the same time the tool with this set did the job.

This kit provides the Schrader valve cores needed for most automotive air conditioning systems at a price well below what the local dealer gave me for just the two valves calculated. The kit included the tools needed to remove and install the valve cores. It would have been nice to add an identification tag as shown in one of the photos but I ended up having to match the ones removed. Only requires two valve cores (one for the low pressure side and the other for the high pressure side of the vehicle's air conditioning line), but the price is 39 pieces. Why not!? The tool is fine and it works, but it's nothing special. The Schrader valve I used in this pack (R12) was silver but the old one I took off my car turned out to be bronze.
