While Revain doesn't understand that video game accessories aren't really games and are therefore not "fun" in and of themselves, I still give it 5 stars given on both because it is a very good product and works great for its intended purpose (namely protecting your 3DS from bumps and scratches). Thing is, once the second thumb add-on comes to the US I'll have to get a new case or no case at all.

The case looks really nice on my 3ds and the aluminum makes it even more expensive which is always nice. One problem I have is that every time I close 3ds there is a beep. I removed the case (it's a nightmare, but it's possible) and there was no initial squeak, although the top screen detached a bit. I don't know if the creaking of the loop causes extra body support, but it only happens 20% of the time, so I can deal with that.

I have a limited edition Zelda 3DS so protecting the outside of the system from scratches is just as important to me as protecting the screens. The case is very tight so I wouldn't recommend removing it often as it can scratch the system. However, wearing it once shouldn't be a problem. You can't use the charging station with it, but that's a small price to pay for this type of protection. It adds a bit of bulk to the 3DS, but I like it. It feels really solid in my hands.
