Difficult to print, worth the fight

I am convinced that this material cannot be destroyed by conventional means. He lives up to his name and won't let you down. However, you need a machine that can handle it. My settings: Bed: 135Hotend: 305 Speed: 50mm/s Body required

Pros
  • 3D printing filament
Cons
  • Flimsy

Good but too expensive

This is a good thread. It took me 3 failed prints to type it out, but after those 3 failed prints I was left with half a roll. This material is too expensive to have bad prints. It's too expensive to have failed or proof prints. I had 12 failed prints on my other full roll of a not so good PC and used less than a quarter. So it only gets 3 stars because it's overpriced, only half a roll for $46 + tax. It costs $92 + tax for a full roll.

Strong, strong, durable, not deformed, good heat resistance

Cool stuff! It is extremely strong, deforms very little and has high strength and rigidity. It outperforms any low temperature filament, including the filaments I've used with chopped carbon fiber (e.g. Ziro PLA+CF, Priline PC+CF), in both printability and strength. These filaments also destroy nozzles if you don't use a Ruby hotend. The only reason I gave four stars is because it costs 80/kg and they don't sell full 1kg buns. Regardless, I will very likely buy other filaments from 3DXTech asโ€ฆ
