Anyone who has ever painted with a rotary polisher knows how tiring changing Velcro pads can be, although Velcro has been a game changer since cloth hoods have been the norm. The 3M quick release mechanism and carrier system make polishing a pleasure. You will not be disappointed with this device.

I've had this on my burnisher for two years and it has been used and abused and is holding up incredibly. I use this at least once a week. I dropped the puffer a few times and took the hit. Plus, the ability to use double-sided 3M pads makes waxing and compounding a breeze. Highly recommended. I would buy one again in a heartbeat.

Be VERY careful with this adapter to ensure the fairing is fully engaged. If you don't actively pull the trigger, it may not fully engage and (like mine) you'll end up with a huge scratch and chipped paint when the pad detaches from the adapter. I plan to spend time actively testing it on a piece of sheet metal before taking it anywhere near my plane again.

This overpriced little device really (usually) holds 3m long double-sided spin pads securely. Personally, the quick-change function is not that important to me, but for a rotor, 3M pads are unbeatable. Perfectly balanced and even, very high quality. And you have to have this thing to use them. However, she is disappointingly fragile. A little chime, a turn of a wrench or something and it will bind and fail.
