10.5 fl oz Cartridge of 3M Auto Glass Urethane Windshield Adhesive, Product Code 08693 Review

Aside from the fact that the product received was not as shown (I received a white container instead of a black one - otherwise it is the same product and came with a nozzle) It did exactly what I wanted it to had hoped for. along with Single Step Primer 3M 08682 - 30ml which I previously applied to the surface of the case back which I sanded down to bare metal. After that I wasn't even halfway through the container and after 24 hours it's holding up very well and absolutely won't move or leak!

An exceptionally good product. 3M 08693 is an exceptionally high quality urethane binder. They deliver fairly fresh produce, which is very important. I would give 5 stars if the Revain packaging was ridiculously bad. It is an expensive, responsibly manufactured product in sealed aluminum tubes that must be packaged with reasonable care. They just threw $200 tubes in a big box, jumbled and jumbled. Pipes are useless if badly dented. All Amazon packers have to do is either put them in a tight box

Had to fill out about 6ft and after using duct tape to make sure it didn't go where I didn't want it and left it in a hot car all day to soften a bit to become and it was smooth . I even smoothed the surface of the bead with a paper towel soaked in acetone which makes it look like it was done by a pro! I wanted to leave a review mainly to let people know that the tube I ordered came with a nozzle. Also, I use a regular caulk gun to apply it. I think this works out to about 14 linear feet depending on the width of the bead. One tube was enough to stuff half the bead around the windshield of this Cadillac Seville. I did NOT use primer, I just used a caulking scraper to scrape off most of the old glue. It had a latch on the back that looked like a tube of grease (which bothered me at first) but…

3m lead the way in adhesives and this is another fantastic product. Bought not to install windshield or auto glass. A friend had several windows in a house with double glazing that after 20 years were peeling off the seal and moisture was seeping into the inside of the glass and looking ugly.
