Material: Brass. Connections: 1/2" x 3/8". Type : Barb Hose Mender/Splicer Reducer. Adapter for connecting a hose to a hose threaded connection of a different diameter. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Temperatures range from -40 to 160 F. 150 PSI maximum working pressure. Contains no lead. NOT FOR POTABLE WATER

Useful Reduces in my review

The reducer was adequate. The 5/6" barb was loose in the hose. The 3/8 fit as it should. With typical clamps, they installed OK.
