great product for my opinion

it was nearly impossible to find a 1/4in barn to 1/4in npt. nearly gave up till I found these. shopping time was reasonable

Pros
  • I liked them. I used them to repair the fuel system on a industrial lawn mower.
Cons
  • The 5/16 ID hose size may not fit all applications, limiting the product's versatility

Shipping sucks on my review.

The product was fine not too much you can do wrong with the brass fitting. The shipping sucked over five weeks to deliver.

  • The product may not come with installation instructions or guidance, making it difficult for novice users

Good fit, no leaks: my feedback

I used it to add a transmission filter in the oil cooler line. Worked perfect. Always use RTV a light coating on the fitting threads, then screw it in, but not super tight as that is not needed.

Pros
  • Well made part. Had a limited space to get in a PCV hose. This did the trick. Happy I found it.
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to handle and install due to its small size and intricate design

NOT NPT - Extroadinarily cheaply made

These are not NPT thread. They're more of a straight thread. But they're also not totally straight, so just maybe a poorly made straight thread. They're incredibly cheaply made. Don't use these. There's also barely any barb thread for making a connection so these would likely blow out under any real pressure. I won't be using them, but it's too late to return them. Seller refused to take a return for them.

  • The product may not be suitable for outdoor use, as the brass material may be affected by weather conditions
