When assembly is complete the slats have some movement and I had to insert some nails to hold the ends in place. First impressions, this fork looks like it should be 3 times what I paid for it. Found zero flaws and was easy to exchange on my bike. Biggest difference is weight. Probably 1/3 the weight of my old fork. That alone is worth it, even if I don't experience any notice on the trails.
