Would rate higher - my new review

Would rate higher but does not connect properly with a case on and a case is a necessity to protect it as I use it at work. Networking Products.

Pros
  • Networking Products
Cons
  • Cannot be used during charging, limiting functionality

The only solution for Macbooks

Although no one understands why Apple decided to take out all of the most usable ports from Macbooks, this is the only logical solution.

Pros
  • Made with high-quality materials for durability
Cons
  • Limited warranty may not cover all potential problems

Perfect MacBook Air M1 Adapter

I bought this adapter for my new MacBook Air with M1 chip to connect my wireless mouse and external hard drives. I love how minimalistic and sleek it is. It is super light weight, fits snug, and works very well with my laptop and I am able to charge it while utilizing the other ports.Although I realized that I didn’t need the HDMI port, after all, because I can easily mirror the MacBook’s screen to my smart television, I still find it of great value. Also, I thought the light on the adapter…

Pros
  • Supports USB-charged devices including smartphones, cameras, and tablets
Cons
  • Cannot use specific external displays with HDR features

Wonderful! good for me

This is amazing. It works so well. This is such a great device because it has so many ports that you only need this device to connect to your laptop. It’s so easy to download from my audio recorder using the USB. No delay or problems with connections. I’ve only used the USB port and not the other ports so I don’t know how well they work but I’m sure they are fine.

Pros
  • Compatible with MacBook Pro models from 2018 to 2020
Cons
  • May interfere with sleep mode settings

Works well with my MacPro 13 "

1.What device do you use the adapter for?MacPro 13"2.Did the adapter compatible/work with your device?Works and fits perfectly with my MacPro.3.How do you like it ?It covers shortcomings of MacPro 13". I love my MacPro for its size and touch bar function keys(Yes I admit I love it) but it does lack many ports that are essential for everyday use. Very recommended indeed.

Pros
  • Eliminates the need to switch cables to use different devices
Cons
  • Limited support for external hard drives that require higher power

Eh, it suites its purpose.

I bought this for the regular USB port. Unfortunately you can’t use your computer charger with the usb c plugged in. Since it was systematically made for a MacBook For $30 you would think it would have been made so you can charge your computer at the same time.

Pros
  • 2.11 ounces
Cons
  • Can cause audio issues when connecting external speakers or headphones

SD card slots in my review

Neither the micro SD card slots allow the card to fully insert so they are subject to being caught or snapped off if using the adapter while moving the laptop. The microSD slot is extremely tight and is hard to get the microSD card in and the port, for the full size or SD card adapter port, requires the card/adapter to be put in upside down (card pins face up) instead of the right side up like all other card slots on every other computer made. The first USB C port allows for device charging the

Pros
  • Helps to keep your workspace organized and tidier
Cons
  • Limitations with external monitor refresh rate

Almost perfect, but.

This device fits my new Macbook Air M1 perfectly. Memory card transfer is awesome. Mouse and Keyboard work great. Some issues I have had in a week of use:- If the Macbook lid is closed, this USB C adaptor device keeps it's indicator light on, consuming battery. It probably prevents the Macbook from going to sleep. I have left it there to test and it never turns off. This happens with or without HDMI external monitor connected.- When connecting hdmi it takes sometimes up to half a minute to start

Pros
  • Sleek and stylish design complements your laptop’s look
Cons
  • Extra setup time when connecting multiple devices

Perfectly combatable with MacBook pros and ipad

I needed something simple to attach my iPad to my computer. I have a drawing program on my iPad and I wanted to be able to share that on zoom meetings. Someone told me that they had this particular product, I took a chance, bought it, and was stunned at how easy it was to use it was basically pick and click! I plug the unit into my computer, plugged the iPad into the unit and it was up and running. The person that told me about this product has been using it for a while. I am not sure if it’s…

Pros
  • Conveniently connects multiple devices simultaneously
Cons
  • Occasional connectivity issues during video and audio playback

Well designed and works great.

I’m loving this purchase. I’ve bought a couple of other docks for my MacBook but they all had weird aesthetics. Long cords, backwards facing inputs, overheating even when not under strain. This one is nearly perfect. Matches my silver MacBook color really close. It’s more discrete, doesn’t take up a lot of space. Has a sufficient amount of important ports. USB 3.0x2 and SD/mini SD memory slots. And of course the 2 USB -C ports. One thing I’m super happy with is the fact the dock is the same…

Pros
  • Offers two high-speed USB 3.0 ports for fast data transfer
Cons
  • Needs proper ventilation to prevent overheating issues

Pretty good product

It’s snazzy compact however that’s where there is slight drawback. To avoid damage to the Mac I have to ensure the dongle is always removed from the computer when plugging in the hdmi cable. It snags the laptop along the the two inputs on the side of the laptop.

Pros
  • Provides convenience and efficiency in one small package
Cons
  • No support for certain high-end gaming displays

Memory card transfer is great

I’m a photographer and travel extensively, this devise works well with my MacBook Pro and allows easy downloading of images from my memory card.

Pros
  • Plug-and-play setup makes it easy to use right out of the box
Cons
  • Limited range of colors to choose from

Works as Advetised best in my review

I needed an adapter so I could move pictures from my SD card through my camera to my MacBook for work while in Uganda. Overall, this worked like a charm. I had no issues transferring photos to my Mac through this. The only problem I had was that sometimes you really had to shove the SD card in the slot to get it to be recognized. Even with that nuance, I'd still recommend it. (And recommend traveling with it in a small pouch. You don't want it tossed around in your bag and you can't leave it…

Pros
  • Ideal for streaming video or audio content in high definition
Cons
  • Can cause lower internet speeds when Ethernet is plugged in

I have to take the bottom piece of my computer case off to use this because it has to fit flush to my computer for it to work. With that being said, I take off my case every day but the extension does allow me to charge my computer, charge my air-pods, have a flash drive in, a usb mouse, and attach to my desk top computer.

Pros
  • Lightweight and portable for on-the-go use
Cons
  • Subpar audio and video quality compared to dedicated ports
