The discs are well made. The press doesn't work well. However, a poorly made base reduces the value of the instrument to zero. You shouldn't take it.

This tool worked great as the name suggests there was only one issue where the set screw kinda loosened up a bit and the plunger started to to get out of the screw handle, was able to re-tighten it with a vise and tighten the set screw, and after that it worked perfectly, saving me about $800 on the purchase of a new steering rack and transmission for my jeep.

If you're used to screw crimping tools, this will be a welcome change. Some sets like this usually succeed or fail. But we were able to insert a good bell into the steel line without slipping. It worked on the first try, that was the proof in the pudding. Plus it's cheaper than Mastercool, that's all. I'm not a certified mechanic so can't comment on how well it performs commercially given heavy use. But there are no complaints about the work my wife's uncle and I did.
