I wish I had had this many years ago!

I hate making brake lines and when I remodel cars I spend a lot of money to buy ready made lines from specialized vendors and spend a lot of money. Those times are over, because now I can draw incomprehensible lines myself. The small hand tools are really a nuisance to use and I struggled to get good bubbles. It became a problem enough that despite the expense, I just didn't want to make them myself anymore. With this set, I quickly learned to make perfect torches every time. Now building all the new plumbing for my next project isn't a huge expense or downright scary. This kit works and the learning curve is quick - I only screwed up one thing by rushing at first - if you follow the instructions you'll get permanent flares. EVERY garage should have this, as should any hobbyist who restores cars. This kit almost paid for itself with the ONE set of lines I needed. Instead of spending $399 on a pre-built kit, I spent $105 on parts and this kit to create a complete system that fits even better than the pre-built kit. It doesn't take that much time, just cut, deburr, mount the sliding fitting, clamp/flare and bend the line to suit the machine.
