Before opening the package these pegs came in it was extremely light. When holding the pegs the quality feels really cheap almost like a heave duty plastic but they appear to be aluminum. I just installed them on my daughters bike but I don’t feel they are going to last. Wishing I would have spent a few more dollars and bought something of better quality. But I guess I’ll leave them on for now and see what happens. Only giving three stars for now.

Well we bought 2 sets of these. One stripped the first week and the second one month in stripped. My boys are 5 and 8. They are not over weight but average size. Neither is rough on their bikes and both were super excited over these pegs. But that was short lived because like I said within a months time one from each set stripped and doesn’t stay on well. So if you want these more for show and not for use than they are for you. We don’t feel they were a good match for us.
