Ordered a vacuum cleaner for my bag without a bit of Zing. The filter barely fits and keeps falling out. None of the smaller filters even fit in my vacuum cleaner. Not suitable for changing the filter. look elsewhere

I couldn't use the filter because it didn't fit my vacuum. I returned it immediately. I really couldn't rate the product due to lack of use, but I think the description is a bit misleading if it doesn't state which vacuum cleaner the filter fits.

I accidentally threw away the original filter cap and had to order a new one for my lovely little vacuum cleaner. The new part works well but the lid itself is not as rough as the original and has a slightly loose crease. This doesn't affect performance, but it's clearly not as well made as the original part. Considering it was a $40 vacuum, paying $18 for a replacement plastic filter is ridiculous.

When I bought mine there was no model number just Zing. So I bought it to match the sound I bought from Revain. Model 2156A This does not fit the Model 2156A. I was able to grind the mine down to fit. You only grind down the top and bottom of the outer ring about 0.25 inch. It took me an hour and a half using a wood shaping tool and 80 grit sandpaper. Very disappointed. I ordered precision filters for a Zing canister sweeper that I have. The large round filter did not fit and twisted the clasp. He won't go far enough to turn around. I only did this because I read that others had to file the plastic to fit. Finally, after a lot of filing, I was able to turn it maybe 1/8 inch.
