🔑 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado OEM 5-Button Smart Key Fob Remote (HYQ1EA, 13529632) Review

This worked great on my 2019 Chevy Silverado Texas Edition. It's like a bunch of keys that spins with the truck. I found a video guide online to program it. I saved about $250. If you have 30 minutes of free time then this is what you need.

Key fob works great. Found the programming guide for my truck online and programmed it without any problems. Went to a local car key shop and they cut the key for a reasonable price. Saved myself hundreds by doing it myself instead of going to the dealer.

Dealer asked $350 for a replacement key. We followed simple instructions and did it for a lot less money. The steps take a little while as you have to wait a few minutes before moving on to the next step, but it couldn't be easier.

Looks like a genuine Chevy OEM key fob. If this isn't a genuine OEM key fob for my 2020 Silverado 2500, then this is the best replica I've ever seen! I programmed myself with a quick google search and a local locksmith carved a $5 key. Unbeatable value considering dealers cost $200-$300 and even local locksmiths typically cost $100-$150 for fobs, key making and programming. Will definitely buy again if I lose.

I was skeptical at first, but given the high retail price I wanted to try it. The key came quickly, well packaged. A card was included with the key with a link to the instructions on how to program the key. Unfortunately we do not have a manual for the 2020 Silverado 1500 (latest model). I watched YouTube videos and followed their instructions. Went like clockwork! 4 stars instead of 5 because there were no instructions for the Silverado while they list the car on the website.
