Hobie puts a larger connector on their battery and charger. Buy a Battery Tender Plus and install these plugs on your system and the battery tender. Throw away the old charger it is crap. Find a spot in your garage where you can leave the BTPlus on your battery all the time and it will last for years.

Easier to hook up audio speakers with instead of all the splicing and poor connections, this way secured the connection and even distributed the power better

Used it to repair a pre-lit Christmas tree. The plastic holding the contacts were made cheaply so I needed these to allow the sections of the tree to be removable. Pretty well made. Don’t know about being waterproof but imagine the would be water resistant on an automotive type application.

I had bought these to use for some emergency lights for my truck and when I was testing them out they came up done very easily. I decided to test them out by drink g over some speed bumps to simulate what it would be like off road in the high country. After the third bump the connection snapped open.

If you need reliability, look elsewhere. I’ve said this before, but ebay is responsible for selling this junk. It’s their responsibility to product test before recommending this junk.

I liked that I was able to easily separate the connectors when necessary. That’s when most problems arise is when you go to separate the connectors and then the wires get pulled from the connector. These have a nice feel to them that allow you to separate without pulling the wires.

Appeared to be well made.3 no issues#4 the red wire pulled out with no real effort.#5 the red and blue pulled out with no real effort when conducting a tug test.Ended up gluing wires in to avoid delay of returning and replacing.

The pictures may note to be careful how you handle the wires, as they are not soldered into the terminals. However, they also don't mention that the crimp connections are poor at best. Upon lightly pulling on the wires to make sure they won't dislodge from the terminals after I install into the Jeep, at least one wire came out of 7 of the 10 units.that left me with only 1 pair that was actually useful.These are not worth your time, if you use them you risk the chance of it disconnecting after…

The wires are large enough to connect to my equipment and the other side to the power. They took a bit of wiggling to get the pins aligned but everything clipped snugly and secure.

The connectors are nice, price is great, not dealing with crimps is convenient. Watch out when you are stripping the ends off the wires—I pulled out a wire on two separate connectors until I started holding the base of the wire with another set of pliers while using the strippers.
