Great price if they work.

They seem great but haven't tested the water yet but will soon. If it's that good/close to my old one, it's double the price of a filter. If they pass good tests, I give them 5* across the board. I bought them for camping and kept them in my bag. And I used one to teach an outdoor class, 5 gallons. A bucket is good for base camp, but not for support. Good filters. A significant improvement in taste.

I use these filters to make a homemade tap water filter out of two 2 gallon food buckets. Of course, I didn't test the purified water in a lab to back up the claims, but filtered water was chosen in blind tastings every time. We use it for all our drinking water needs, plus it was a fun little project. 11-6-18: still in force. It removes so much dirt from the tap water that brown goo forms on the ceramic. About once a month I wash my scrub brush and keep using it.

The threaded rod is a bit short.

ceramic filter works fine after pumping a few gallons to remove a slight chalky taste (everyone needs it), my main complaint is the screw shaft is a little short, an extra 1/4 inch (6mm) would be a huge improvement in my opinion. Note that I am using these in a homemade filter setup (two 5 gallon buckets) and due to the gap between the bottom of the top bucket and the lid of the bottom bucket it's almost impossible to tighten the nut properly (there is a bit of threading ). Left).

Be sure not to buy

Close to the original. I'll be surprised to see it filters half as well as the OEM. I understand when customers exaggerate with their reviews for personal reasons and to be honest this is the first time I have given a proper review but I had to. I'm not returning them as they are cheap, although there are lessons to be learned. This is my opinion on this device.

NO ZEN FILTER. Ceramic filters are fine, but 5-stage mineral filters are misleading and vice versa.

NO ZEN FILTERS. Great price, not used yet. The filters I got are different from the pictures. And coal on top.? Why? It's always the last, always. I wonder if there is a taste of minerals and rocks and other filter substances when using it because charcoal is a neutralizer, but is it on top? Why? It states that water turns into hexagonal water.
