I'm relatively secure technically and have been using USB sticks for many years. Thought 5 packs would be a big savings. But 2 out of 5 discs arrived read only. Went into regedit and changed the settings. But still two drives remain write protected. Completely disappointed. (The other 3 drives work fine.)

I often write presentations that need to be transported and used elsewhere. The size and portability of the 8GB Flash Drive 2.0 was excellent and was enough to store presentation information. I also like the little red light that appears at the end of the drive to show it's powered on while it's running. Overall I would recommend this product.

I use a lot of USB drives and have been trying to find good deals for years. Unsurprisingly, many of the super cheap products are junk. Every time I try them I throw them away. Mosdart flash drives are the best combination of price and reliability I've found - I've never had a Mosdart USB drive fail. They seem to be just as good as the more expensive brands, but if you shop carefully they can be a great deal. Plus, Alice Cooper loves her!

It was discovered that these flash drives have unreliable connectors. Often I plug them in and the computer doesn't recognize them. If I shake them in the connection, the device recognizes them, although afterwards I worry about the integrity of the connection. I don't have this problem with drives from other manufacturers on the same USB ports (so don't blame the USB port). Since storage is a matter of reliability, I would not recommend these USB sticks. I was surprised to find that I could buy 5 8GB MOSDART floppy disks for almost the same price as the 5 4GB floppy disks I was originally looking for.
