Thin Glass - my new review

The glass is thin and prone to cracking not from temperature but from force. First shipment had one of them broken in the box. of course ebay's excellent customer service sent me a replacement at no cost. I bought these two make starters for my beer brewing and they work well on the stove. They are a goodbye for the price.

Pros
  • Good lab ware with easy to read markings
Cons
  • This 1000 mL flask cracked after running cold water over it.

Great quality! in my review

I did not use them for lab purposes so I can't comment there (though they seem fine and I would use them in the lab if I still did research). I did make them into decorations for my office and I love them!

Pros
  • Erlenmeyer Flasks
Cons
  • The narrow mouth design can make it difficult to add or remove certain substances, making the flask less useful for a variety of experiments.

garbage very dangerous

I received two 1000ml flasks.first one i put on the hotplate with sulfuric acid as soon asthe hotplate got hot the glass cracked and it was a disaster,,,, toxic smoke everywherenext day. second one on hot plate. same thing withing two minutes.these are not safe and should not be sold as anything but a flower vase.my guess is made in china of course.

Pros
  • Lab Flasks
Cons
  • In comparison to plastic flasks, glass flasks such as this one tend to be heavier and more cumbersome to work with, affecting overall lab efficiency and productivity
