Definitely a good quality faucet but I can't give it 5 stars due to several design flaws. Installing the faucet was a challenge because the drain plug lift rod goes through the faucet at an angle, causing it to bang against the back of the sink. You need to bend the lift rod in half to fix this problem. This is a quality crane and this lift rod does not bend easily but requires a vise to hold it when bent. I bought this to match the shower system I bought at the same time. I was shocked to find out how poorly made it was. There is a separate piece of metal under the spout and the seam between the two pieces is uneven. As you can see in the photo, there are dents on the lower part under the spout. When we bought the house 12 years ago the builder installed Delta faucets (five bathrooms and one kitchen) and they worked fine. I was impressed that all six used the same ball valve mechanism and it worked well. They started leaking about a year ago and I put new gasket kits in and this went on for about a year and this time a different gasket kit didn't fix the problem. .I couldn't complain about something that worked well for 10+ years, so I decided to take a look at what Delta is doing now.
