I bought this to match the shower system I bought at the same time. I was shocked to find out how poorly made it was. There is a separate piece of metal under the spout and the seam between the two pieces is uneven. As you can see in the photo, there are dents on the lower part under the spout. You'll notice that all of the product photos on the Delta website avoid this species, a wise choice. I am shocked at the quality of the products they produce. I returned this item and bought one with a molded spout. I haven't received it but I hope it doesn't show the same lack of quality. Just take a look. I have just received a replacement tap (Delta 583LF-SSWF C-Spout) and it is manufactured and finished as I had hoped. The entire body, including the spout, is a one-piece cast. Delta 583LF-SSWF Single Lever C Spout Toilet Mixer, Stainless Steel. If you are considering a faucet on this list, at least give this alternative a look.
