I live in Louisiana and it just doesn’t touch dropping the temp at all in my vehicle. Also I’ve used it about 6 times and one of the arms has already unattached itself from the fabric. No big deal I can fix it. It may work better in less heat than we have here. I guess it is ok- maybe my expectations were too high.

Update: Changing review to 2 stars because it is starting to break. The metal is starting to break through the umbrella. So, those corners need to be re-enforced. I would not buy this again. All in all I like the sun shade and it fits my 2022 Tucson windshield perfectly. I like how the handle bends to keep it off of the dash and controls. Only negative thing I don’t like about it is the Velcro holding strap, it’s a long strip which is only 1/2” wide sewn onto the the edge of the shade material which seems it will tear loose in time. Also you need to wrap the strip in the correct direction (loop side out) so the hook side can attach once you get it wrapped up.

It's not an absolutely perfect fit, and I didn't notice that I'd need the visors to hold it in place, but this is much easier to use than my flimsy, folding windshield shade. And once you drop your visors, it blocks out 95 percent of the sunlight.A shade is an absolute must in Texas summers (why aren't steering wheels bound in light-colored vinyl/cloth?).My wife is getting one for her Jeep Renegade.I chose the shade sized for a 2019 Hyundai Elantra for my 2021 Hyundai Accent SEL.

The first product was not good. I recently received new products that had stronger end caps. I think this is a much better product and works great. I do recommend the new modified product.

Fits well, folds easily, and best of all, it stays in place and doesn’t sag. So happy we purchased this product. We are thinking that it would make a great gift for some of our children.

The shade looks nice. But for me the handle didn’t bend enough to fit my gmc truck with out damaging the console. Also after just one use two of the arms poked through the fabric and it was sagging. Lastly it is thin and I couldn’t tell that it helped with the heat at all. I would not recommend it for a truck maybe it fits a car better.

I love it. It was so easy to fit and easy to let down. I'm 81 and most things give me a challenge but not this. My car is going to have to stay out of the garage for a while and the sun here in NC gets very hot on some days. It does the job of making it easier to get into the car and not take your breath away.

It didn’t fit properly in my 2021 Honda Civic and when unfolding it scratched my brand new window tint leaving a permanent mark. It’s an umbrella with folding metal parts and will scratch surfaces in your vehicle I would not recommend buying this product. If you buy it keep your box it came in, I didn’t no refund. An update to this review the seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. I discovered a piece of metal had broken through the sun shade fabric causing the damage to my tint.

I have a 2018 Honda pilot the larger one could've fit but I got the in between size still fits small cracks from where it doesn't cover entire window but still get the same sun block effect

This thing fits and works great for my 2016 Ram 2500. It is very simple to set in place and take down.Much better than the folding up kind. Easy to store away in a small space. I like the handle and how it bends to the shape of my dash. It would make a good umbrella if you needed one in a pinch. Over all it is money well spent.

Although this shade fits the windshield and the handle folder out of the way of the dashboard, it does have some issues.The outer section of the umbrella does not retract and fold into the center when it is collapsed. It kind of just hangs there loosely. You have to manually gather each section and pull it in, then hold it in place while you wrap the velcro strap around it.Also, one of the pins that keep to under skeleton portion together fell out, leaving that section to bend out of shape. I loved the idea that this is not like the traditional ones. I love the fact that it doesn't need much room when its stored away in the vehicle. I has an issue in the beginning with this product but the seller definitely eased my issue and concerns. But overall, great product and great customer service which is very prompt initially and following up.

It was easy to open and close. I like how compacted it is. The width of the product fit edged to edged on my 2017 Subaru Forester, but there was a huge gab from where the rear view mirror is to the top of the windshield. Also it was difficult to tuck the shade under the rear view mirror to get a good fit. I would recommended designing a slit for the rearview mirror. I purchased this because the description states that it will fit the front windshield on a Honda CR-V however it’s way to small and will not stay in place. I like the concept of the umbrella like shade and if the size was larger it would of worked however it didn’t sadly

The shade doesn't cover my wind shield. The description didn't give a good size. Found out later it is made for a Ford F150. If your not buying for a F150 don't buy. Hard to believe my car is larger than a truck (F150) wind shield. The concept is a good idea but this one needs a lot of work and improvement.

I ordered the large size. It doesnt quite cover side to side, but its much too tall to fit top to bottom. There is no way to secure it with the sun visors so its basically useless in my vehicle.

Slight learning curve here, you need to open it BEFORE putting above the dashboard, then slide into place. I like though. Folding up is a touch awkward but it does the trick.
