Very happy with the purchase for my husband, everything went smoothly, fast delivery, a great gift for the turn of the year. Fits perfectly in my jeep.

Great quality, the instructions were a little rough on finding out exactly what gear to use and I still had to visit the store to find out more, the vent tube was different and I had to change it yourself to make it fit properly.

Excellent product. The installation only took about 2 hours from start to finish. Gives an average sound along with a slight improvement in performance and fuel economy. Consumption has increased from 19mpg to 23mpg. The only problem was that the crankcase ventilation tube was different than what was listed in the manual. Some small mods and it was fixed. Completely satisfied with the product.

The intake noise is very loud, so don't be surprised. The difference in performance is immediately noticeable, and I've done it on many other models and never noticed such a big difference. I haven't noticed an increase in fuel consumption per gallon, even with very economical use of the entire tank. I installed this anyway when replacing the IAC valve.

Fairly easy installation; The instructions are sketchy at best. You should be able to figure out which screw goes where because K&N was too lazy to tell you. Just get out of the scheme and use your best judgment. Haven't noticed an MPG increase yet, but I need new spark plugs and new coils. I will post an update later. I can tell you I've noticed that the engine kicks up a lot quicker now and power sounds come out when the gas pedal is nailed down.

Installation takes about an hour or so. The instructions are of very good quality. Looks great. I put it on a '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8. And let me tell you. Sounds like it belongs to the track. EXPENSIVE for the plastic tube and filter, but worth every penny for the sound and performance. It easily pays for itself after 20,000 miles with better gas efficiency. I LOVE how my engine sounds when starting. However, I blushed a little because it gets so loud when starting. I bought this air intake about a month ago and I really like it, it was an easy install for those who know what they are doing but definitely not that difficult that a pro would do it. But I already had a 40 Series Flowmaster in my Jeep and after putting the air intake on it the exhaust got a lot "hoarser" if anyone knows what that means, more rumble without the "rustic crackle" but whatever , if you are looking for a deeper sound with more airflow, you need this intake.
