My granddaughter asked for it for her birthday and she is very happy with it - she is 13 and was able to install it herself. My daughter says it would be nice to have a longer cord before turning on the light to plug in and then running up the wall because they would fit her whole room and it would be cumbersome to use an extension cord.

This is great. They have nice colors and options/settings. My only issue is that they are 2 separate strands, not one long one. Both strands must be connected to a charger/socket, so both strands must start at the same point. Since my outlets are near the floor, we had to turn on the light at the corner of the wall (hence the double filaments at that point).
