Good quality tent.

Definitely heavier than the average blue canvas. With it you can protect a stack of dry firewood from rain. It seems that with due diligence it will last a while.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • old

First test passed

Would give 5 stars if the side eyelets were more evenly spaced. Since it survived at least the first trip to the junkyard, unlike its Taiwanese competitor, it will certainly survive another season or two, good feeling, heavy seams.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list will be long.

NOT AS RECOMMENDED good for gear

I ordered a 6x8 foot tarp to cover our 6x6 foot sandpit. THIS IS NOT 6x8. So it doesn't cover the box. Why do people give 4 stars for a product that isn't right? This tarp was not expensive, and. His. a. Plans. But measurements and numbers exist for a reason.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

This tarp fits the tarp

This is a tarp. It makes things look like a tarp. I've used it to cover luggage and belongings when heading to the mountains. Survived the sun and the wind beating against it. It's pretty stiff out of the box and to be honest I'm not sure it will ever soften up but I didn't care.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Minor problems

decent, inexpensive

Too black for dark green, but I only bought it to cover the floor in the grow room. Fairly water resistant, we'll see how it resists mold, but it has a nice mostly smooth finish and not a lot of ripstop texture that can be difficult to clean.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Tarpaulin sizes are important

Regular thickness. Actual size is approximately 6-7 inches smaller in both length and width. The eyelets are spaced side-to-side like you're lacing shoes, they're not directly opposite each other. When I stretch the tarp under the chicken perches the sides don't line up and so it lies crooked and doesn't flow freely and easily as it slides and slides. If you're looking for exact measurements and evenly spaced bushings, I also purchased a Windscreen4less 6' x 8' heavy duty 10mm waterproof silver

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Saved our important trail on a rain hike.

. I took it just in case, just in case, when nature has surprises in store for us, and she had them. On three days of our weekend hike, it rained so heavily that we couldn't walk around our area without a tarp covering the entrances to our main tent and screen room. Mud covered everything and our shoes got toasted unless we stayed in a tarp covered foyer. It looked like some liquid leaked out from under the tarp, but it prevented a complete dismantling disaster for the campground. It's handy to

Pros
  • . Easy installation.
Cons
  • . Hard to say.
