Description of 6PCS Brass Pipe Fitting Hex Bushing Reducer Adapter 1/8 Inch NPT X 1/4 Inch NPT - GASHER

Reducer Adapter: Premium solid brass with thicker wall, more durable than iron and iron galvanized pipe fittings, 1/4" NPT male pipe x 1/8" NPT female pipe. Reducing Hex Nipple: Reducing hex nipple for connecting two threaded pipes with different diameters. Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads for connecting to female threaded pipes. Hex Bushing: Has a 1/8” male NPT threaded on one end and a 1/4” female NPT threaded on the other for connecting a female and a male pipe or fitting with different diameters. Max. Pressure: 150 PSI WOG; Temperatures range from -65 to 250 F. These fittings are not allowed to be installed for potable water,NPT thread size does not actual diameter, it is only nominal pipe size.

Received wrong size

The quality seems good. The price is reasonable. But I'm giving 2 stars because I ordered ½ to ¼ inch and the packet I received contained (only) ½ to ⅜.Unfortunately, by the time I discovered this the return window had closed. So there's a few bucks that ain't never coming back.As others have noted, better packaging or more attentive stock picking would make this a better purchase.

Couplers / adapters. Threads seem fine to me.

Some people said the threads seemed funny? Mine fit my 3/8 npt threaded air manifold block and 1/4 npt air couplers perfectly and do not leak with one wrap of Teflon tape. These seem like completely adequate couplers, I'd buy these again if needed.

Well machined brass fittings

They are strong; adequate wall thicknesses. Threads are within spec. Price is fair; but it seems all brass fittings are very expensive. 10 years ago I was purchasing these fittings for $1.00 each.

  • Just what I needed on more then one project. Glad I bought that amount.

  • The small size may make it difficult to handle for those with larger hands or limited dexterity

These fittings were used to convert an old compressor receiver into a portable compressed air tank. They were just what I needed.

Very nice fittings!

These fittings are very nice quality. Well finished and nicely cut threads. I tested all of the threads and everything screwed together perfectly. I seem to keep having a need for small brass pipe fittings, and they are very expensive at the local hardware store. These are about 1/3 the price, so I decided I would just stock up!

Great value for brass fitting. Get 15 fitting for price of two at a big box store.

Well made brass adapters. Came in handy to adapt a 3/8" supply line to a 1/2" pipe. You get 15 high quality fittings for what you would pay for two at a big box store. Nice to have these adapters at a fingers reach. Great value
