Missing parts for electric door lock

Everything was ready and luckily there was no emergency release inside. So if the problem comes back, the door won't open. This is the second time and I'm not happy. General!

If you have a trunk lift, this is not the latch you want (but still a good latch).

I accidentally bought this car for my wife's 2016 Kia Sorento not knowing it didn't come with a tailgate lift assist. This bar will definitely work, but only as a bar. If you want one with lift assist, the part number is 81230-C5100 and that's about $100 more. Both are easy to install and will work if the trunk latch is faulty.
