🔌 Efficient 846639 Fuel Shut-Off Solenoid for Briggs and Stratton Lawn Garden Equipment Engine Review

Used on my John Deere 100 Series Self Propelled Mower. It was easy to install, feels as strong as the original and it worked! Also, I saved about $60 compared to buying from a John Deere dealer.

I saved $40 and it works great. I haven't mowed my yard in a week so when I replaced my old mower with this one my mower started right away. The original is $60-80, we'll see how long it lasts, but so far it's working as expected.

Random shutdown while mowing. Troubleshooting led me to the solenoid. Tested the old one with a 9 volt battery and lo and behold it died. Perfect replacement. Plugged in, and my trojan got twisted.

My Poulan Pro PPX19H46 shut down like I was out of gas but I had half a tank which was enough to mow my garden. I ordered this because the manufacturer part was delayed for weeks. The product arrived quickly, it was easy to install and my mower started working straight away. Thanks very much!

Mowed grass and puff pastry. The mower is switched off. Being on the slopes I figured that was the reason. Dragged the mower to a level surface and attempted to restart it. Vain. I checked everything I could, but it wouldn't start. I lugged it back to the store, started digging and found this to be the problem. Replaced and lit for the first time.

Also ideally suited to an already installed socket. The kit comes with interchangeable cables, but I didn't need them. My original didn't have a washer but I used the one that came with it. I have a Husqvarna rider with a Briggs 18.5 engine. Longevity is questionable but my original failed at 14 hours after 4 months of ownership.

The product arrived a few days earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise! My JD E100 mower suddenly shut down the other day and it just went round and round and round without starting.
