Poor mechanical and manual tool design

I could not connect directly to these clamps to save my life. Maybe if they were a little higher. Also, one of them had a broken grip.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • High price

Useful clip! in Power & Hand Tools

I used this clip to mount MDF drawers, it was very useful. I recommend having two, although one will do the job. The swivel joint makes clamping a bit tedious, but it's necessary if you're clamping two different sizes of parts or if you're making a butt joint.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Base Required

Wonderful, durable corner clip!

This rectangular clamp is very useful for attaching offset shelves that require 1x2 support for accuracy. Good jaw height to support both pieces of wood. The only feature missing from this clip is a quick release buckle, but that's a minor inconvenience. Not only would I buy it again, I just did. 3 more.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Legacy model

Before you buy, know how to use it!

Let me explain. We're not very good carpenters but we built 4 buses etc out of pre-made cabinets. This project called for 4 drawers and I thought these clips would help. NO, NO AND NO. Maybe they're for big projects, big boxes, whatever. Unfortunately I ordered 4 for a gift and he may not like them anymore. We gave our 4 to a carpenter friend, maybe he'll like them. Maybe we weren't professional enough to use them. We managed to make 4 boxes but not with these.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Some errors

Unusable - see photo

I bought this collar based on reviews. Didn't expect a Ferrari collar for the amount paid but people look at the pictures - this is just unacceptable. In the first picture, two perfectly square pieces of plywood lie on the base of the clamp. The second and third happens when you tighten the parts. He scatters both parts (separates them). One more thing, there are two high points on the bottom of the base that make the clamp wobble on my build table.

Pros
  • Product size
Cons
  • I will write later

The connection is a little twisted

Tried it. I gathered some stock to form the base of the coffee table. i am amateur I would insert the stem, connect and align the hinge, then tighten the clamp. When the clamp was fully tightened, she twisted the connection so the pieces were not flush. It was at a 90 degree angle but one board was tilted down a little. The edge was straight because it was the factory edge of the wood. This was very annoying and although I tried several times and with a few different pieces of wood I couldn't…

Pros
  • High quality material
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Well made, reliable, easy to use (I like that it has less "extra features", frills and it is just that, simple, simple. As a handyman, this is ideal for non professional use (imo) It takes a bit of practice and patient to make sure the joints line up properly but once you do it is very easy to use And that's after trying this tool Corners - it's easy measure twice cut once I find the outside of the corners open to join much better than some of the other similar tools sold here that I have there

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • boring packaging
