Worked as it should

Had to replace our humidifier solenoid and the company that came out wanted to charge $250. I found the part was removed from the humidifier and looked for a serial number. This was an exact match. There were literally 2 screws and 2 wires to attach and that was it. The humidifier works again. Very happy!

Built-in strainer on the inlet side, but is available from Revain at a much lower price.

Needed this for the Aprilaire 220, the valve was shipped quickly, look closely at the intake side and it already has a gold colored screen. I loved that it comes with two 1/4" compression fittings. The wires are not polarity sensitive so you can't mix them up. I wish I could buy a little longer as this water control valve from Revain is only $7.98 $ is sold.

Great replacement solenoid valve at a great price.

This solenoid was easy to replace. The hardest part of the job was making sure the old valve wasn't working, that all the water lines were clean, and that the valve had power when needed. The actual replacement took five minutes (basically checking for leaks and proper water flow in the humidifier). I used existing input and output lines which made swapping easy. The mounting holes are also identical.
