I used the Heat Shield Spray prior to using Aberlite's Compact Beard Straightener and was blown away with the results. The spray both softened and conditioned my beard and stayed that way all day. But the best thing was the Sandalwood smell. It is by far the best smelling oil I have ever used and it stayed with me for most of the day. I don't usually write reviews but this product is 'awesome to the max'!

All I can say is that this stuff smells awful! Like musty, moldy wax after using the Aberlite straightener (which works well by the way) . It doesn't go away either. The mask I was wearing that day ended up in the trash as well. As I said, the straightener they make is really nice and I've used my wife's heat shield product with it and my beard smelled fine. I didn't have the heat too high so it definitely wasn't from any burning or anything.

The Argan Oil is a FANTASTIC addition the the heated beard comb, leaves my beard feeling soft and very manageable! May not provide long-lasting protection from heat damage.

This oil does not smell like sandlewood. It smells more like dry flaky skin which stinks. I purchased the 1st bottle directly from the MFR website and was excellent. Purchased a replacement from Walmart and it is absolute junk! Go to the mfr and don't buy from amazon!

The only heat protectant spray that I use. Protects the beard from my Aberlite straightener and manages to make it really soft. Keep up the good work Aberlite. Will be using restocking this guy all the time.

Have used plenty of beard oil. Figured I’d try this after using their strainer for months. Makes your beard oily, and I couldn’t figure out what smelled like mildew. My wife smelled my beard and that was it. Shoots out of bottle as a straight stream rather then a mist. This means you still have to rub it around and use a beard brush. No advantage over using a standard beard oil.
