Use once and bend back for a full refund

I didn't even catch a group with a 2008 VW Jetta. I had to start the crimping with a set of router bits and "finish” it with a tool. It seemed to be doing its job but wasn't happy with the way the ripple looked. As some other reviewers have pointed out, the jaws buckled after a single use. The ergonomics also leave a lot to be desired. This is a one-off PITA tool that deserves a full refund.

Makes working with tools and equipment easier

After destroying a tool I bought from NAPA trying to install my new CV trunk clips, I ordered this tool. The ability to attach pry bars to it made it easy and straightforward to install new clamps in seconds and after installing the 8 required clamps the tool showed no signs of stress. It was a bit bulky so I asked my brother to hold the clamp while I tightened it. Definitely recommend, it's a lot better than trying to fit those weird clamps with pliers.

JUNK JUNK JUNK the best tool sets

After so many bad reviews I should be ashamed to buy this one. The seller should be all the more ashamed that he is still selling this worthless junk tool after so many reviews. I have never given such a bad review for a product, but this is complete nonsense. Metal isn't much stronger than a butter knife. It just amazes me that someone produces such rubbish and tries to sell it. If you buy this after reading this you will get what you deserve just like me.

What a waste of money!

Ear clamps are very important for the axis and must be done correctly. If you don't tighten it with enough force, the grease will slowly come out when the axles are spinning at very high speeds, especially at highway speeds. Without a wrench, this tool is useless, and with wrenches attached, its functionality is limited. Based on other reviews it looks like you need to sharpen the tool on the pliers to get them sharp for the tool to work effectively. My wire cutters did a better job crimping…

I don't know if I have a bad tool or if it's ok, but the .

The pliers will not open far enough to grasp the tabs on the BMW 325XI inner trunk clamp. Clamp 98mm. I don't know if I got a bad tool or something, but the Lisle pliers I borrowed from a local shop worked great with the clamp. After using this tool and Lisle, I suggest spending the extra $10 and getting a better tool. The difference in quality is enormous. Even if you rarely use the tool, it needs to be clamped perfectly to prevent leakage, so it's well worth the extra expense for a better…

Did what I needed. in tool kits

Good product, not too expensive considering I probably won't be using it much. Looks solid, served its purpose. I also had to buy another pair because it is a "straight" crimping tool (jaws on one end) and sometimes due to obstructions you also need a 90 degree crimping tool (jaws on the side). I think that's enough for unhindered work on the workbench. Perhaps a garage doing a few repairs a day would wear them out, but as said, not too expensive to replace every once in a while. Each leg has a

Poor design/manufacturing

First of all, I'm a craftsman with 29 years of experience, so I know how to use this tool and how it's supposed to work. I was very disappointed with that. I bought this to replace my version of Lisle that someone "borrowed" and didn't return. As soon as I opened the box it looked poorly made (the handles are uneven and the ends of the jaws are misaligned) but if it worked as intended I could handle it with no problem. It didn't grab the first CV trunk strap I tried it on. The jaws kept…
