Nice little tool for quickly checking chain slack on motorcycles. It takes a little experience to use it the first time and make sure the measurements are correct, but it works in the end. Depending on whether the manual says (sitting on the bike or on the side stand), it may take two people to check the sag. Generally happy with this tool and much easier than using a ruler or tape measure

Tried to use it last weekend. We quickly looked at the direction. Wanted to get the job done so didn't try to figure out how to use the tool. Instead, I used a tape measure. I'll look at this tool again the next time I tension the chain. I think this will be helpful, but if you've never used it, be prepared to spend some time learning how to set it up. Not sure if I would recommend this time or not.

Not working on 2017 Honda CB 1100 EX (CA) I need to measure 35mm chain slack at center under the swingarm. The shape of the pendulum and silencer makes it impossible to place them anywhere near the center point. The only place where there is room to properly place the tool between the swingarm and chain and measure is near the rear sprocket, but that would obviously be an inaccurate measurement. Unfortunately this cannot be used on my particular bike.

I really liked this product at first as I thought it would give me accurate and precise measurements for my motorcycle chain. However, the plastic kept sticking and I had to go back to the tape measure to take my measurements because I just couldn't trust the tool. It's a great idea, but the tool just doesn't work properly and when I figure out how to set it up so it actually gives me the same measurement every time, I'll update this review. It usually takes little thought to get the chain tension right. This little tool removes every thought that was needed. It's so quick and easy to use - it only takes 30 seconds to take multiple readings so I always know if my sag is within spec. It's small enough to stay on my bike. I really should have bought this many years ago. This is really cheap insurance that ensures you get the most out of your chain and sprockets (except keeping your chain clean 🤓)

Bought this instrument after watching several demos posted on YouTube. It seems really easy to use, but my weakness scores are actually upside down. back to the shank but both are identical on me and both are upside down compared to the exact same tool I saw on youtube. The measurement options were different on the instrument, which looked like this verse the instrument sent me. I ended up using a measuring ruler to set the bike chain. This tool did not convince me.

Motion Pro is a mixed bag for me. I LOVE my MP Spring Puller, but I don't like the chain alignment tool that much. This tool is best used with a lift table. If you're just using a tail lift on the floor, it becomes a lot harder than you think from the you tube video. Admittedly, I'm using this on a bike with the MOST DIFFICULT chain setting I've ever had in 54 years of Vulcan S. But that's why I bought this tool. I'm old and I don't get up as easily as I used to. This measures sag pretty well. I was hoping I could just push it against the swing arm and then pull it down. I could not. I had to try to hold it in place and then pull it down at the same time. So I moved it maybe a millimeter or two. I'd say it doesn't get any easier than using a ruler against a swing arm and measuring that way. Actually it's harder for me. I had to remove the muffler to measure it. I don't mind because it's only two bolts and proper chain slack is incredibly important. Some
