It looks like it will only hold a phone, but the grip stretches out nicely to grip and hold an iPad. So I thought, well, that would be cool, but it's not. The AboveTEK stand is solid. The base is heavy enough to support my iPad Pro 10.5. It fits any tablet (at a shorter length). The hand is thin, but not thin at all. The arm joints can be adjusted very tight or very loose. The holder has rubber pads to hold your iPad or any tablet securely and keep it inside. I use the stand to hold my iPad to view sheet music when playing guitar and also use it to consume content when folding my laundry :)

This is a solid and well made stand that we have used primarily for our iPad but also for our iPhones. It's easy to use, quick to set up, simple to set up, and makes it easy to adjust your eye level for Zoom calls and FaceTime calls. Not only is it more visible, it eliminates the extremely unflattering prospect of talking to the camera below you and looking up, which exaggerates double chins and an upward gaze.

Holds my 13" iPad with no problems. Doesn't take up much space. Gives me a HUGE choice of screen positions, up, down and everything in between. Only used the weighted base, but one Desk clamp is included which is nice.When the mount is extended the screen shakes a bit, the bigger the extension the more the shake but the shake is still within reasonable limits.The swing factor was 4 stars instead of 5.

I have found that other stands do not support the weight of the iPad well and will eventually fall off even after the connections are fully tightened. We use this stand almost every day, from Zoom calls to telemedicine visits to cooking instructions in the kitchen. The connections are tightened with the included hex key and are very strong to support the weight of the iPad! Highly recommended!
