Great fan! It might be a little noisy but here's what I did to fix it. I found a rectangular box where it fit into one of the small sides. I screwed it into the box and cut the fan area out of the box. Then I got 2 vents for the dryer and attached them to the sides of the box and outside of the shed. bam! It is 50% quieter and the stable no longer gets hot even with 4 computers running at full power 24/7.

Tracking says the package was handed over directly to the resident. Had not! They left him on the front steps and no ringing at the door, no knocking at the door. The fan works great! I'm glad I actually got it before the pirates on the porch.

Bought 4 of these fans for several projects along with a speed controller to control them. The bearings are absolutely noiseless and very smooth-running. When the blade is rotated by hand, it takes a surprisingly long time to stop. They do make a bit of air noise, but honestly, at this size and RPM, that's to be expected. For my use I use them under 100% and closed so it's fine. At low speeds you'll notice the harmonic hum of the engine trying to push something. This is fairly common on this…
