Lifebelt for my router

I have an Asus AC5300 wireless router that is used 24/7 for about 40 different devices in my house (namely my teenagers). I recently noticed that the router gets very hot. I checked the router's GUI and actually found that my router's CPU temp is 73 degrees C. I ordered this fan and was very impressed with its packaging, build quality, dual ball bearing design, very quiet operation and the perfect size to sit on top of my router. Within minutes of setting it up on my router (powered by the USB…

If you don't succeed at first, try again.

Well, my first order arrived on time, well packaged BUT it didn't work! This really annoyed me but I have to say Revain made it very easy to get a new one. I just clicked the return item button then he told me where to take it with a code, I did and within a day I had a new unit at my door so I say 5 Stars! very well done Now the item as it arrived looks good works first time and that is important but the only thing I have is the fan is either on or off all the time. So I have mine plugged into

Cool and quiet. on Computers and accessories

As you can see in the picture, the Mac mini's average temperature dropped drastically after you just put the fan on. The soft touch prevents your computer from being scratched and the fan color matches the Apple Space Gray color perfectly. I can't even hear the fan at full speed unless I'm a few inches away from it, in which case it's just the sound of air moving. We have multiple Mac minis in a rack, and the addition of an onboard USB power port makes it easy to add additional fans (pun…

Cool the electronics

I use this fan to cool my NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 cable modem. With the fan setting set to the lowest level, my modem stays nice and cool. I am absolutely satisfied with this fan. Here are some measurements that may help others. The distance from the fan to the back of the USB connector (cable end) is 74 inches. Or from the fan to the back of the USB socket. The port size is 6.5 inches. The distance from the back of the USB socket to the USB plug (end of the cable) is 67.5 inches. PSI also…

heating system. I built a baffle for each duct and installed it in the basement ceiling above the stove, then attached a fan to one side of the baffle and connected the duct to the back. The other end of the duct connects to a rigid duct leading to the floor register. Once in place I get a good constant flow of warm air into the downstairs living space. As for the noise, I can hear it, but not enough to object. I adjust the speed to balance the airflow and use a smart plug to turn it on and off

Quality like this is rare to find in Revain

The first thing you'll notice about this fan is the quality workmanship. have a stable surface. We have this under our Mac Mini (Late 2012 Quad Core i7) and it keeps it super cool even under full load. The fan has a small built-in speed controller that gives you three speed and airflow options. as well as a switch. We use this fan in a standard recording studio rack. The volume of his work was one of the most important factors and it pays off. At the lowest level, directly in front of the…

Nearly Invisible/Invisible Quiet

I am writing this review during a very HOT unusual couple of weeks in Minnesota in June, it's been almost 2 weeks past 90 now, I have a 42U server rack in full size my home lab. , it has a big hole on the top where no exhaust fans fit, 21 x 5.5, but the dimensions of this 140mm fan are big enough that I could fit about 4 of them on top of the rack hole. I work for Tech Recycling, so I see what happens to most tech equipment when it's taken out of service. It's rare to see AC Infinity products…
