Slow shipping best with dealers and parts

The cap worked perfectly hence its 5 stars but it took 7 days to receive the item. This was not available. I don't live on the moon.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Do not use the supplied screws!

There was a problem with the cap screws supplied by Accel. The supplied screws are very weak (poor), one broke off before it was screwed in. Non-magnetic aluminum? I'm trying to delete now, don't know if it's possible. You may need to get a replacement distributor!

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Negative present

Good quality! for performance parts and accessories

I have a '96 Chevy Blazer with over 125,000 miles on the odometer. I had rough idle and misfires. Only to find out it was my Autozone Duralast cover. It was badly done after review. This Accel cap is MUCH better than Duralast. And helped my misfires and idles. Don't settle for cheap crap when it comes to fixing your car.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I don't remember

Better than OEM cap ACDelco

Good choice for our '98 Chevy 4.3L Blazer. Good quality, well fitted with brass pins. Helped solve my starting problem when an ACDelco distributor cap with aluminum pins failed and started buckling with badly burned pins. Just use the old screws to attach the cover, does the ACCEL cover come with a threaded screw for some reason?

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Good quality lid but cheap screws

Good quality lid but cheap screws. I bought these hoping to get some quality screws as I lost one of the original screws. The screw broke, I had to remove and drill out the distributor. All my fault. Do not overtighten the supplied screws, they are soft. I recommend using the originals. 4 stars because of soft clamp screws.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

It has brass electrodes, not aluminum. this is the best.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DON'T SELL THIS WITH YOUR ROTOR. BOTH WERE BRASS, I NEED TO FIND A ROTOR THAT WAS NOT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE LID.? AND MY SIMPLE IMPROVED AND PERFORMANCE. THE ONLY THING YOU WANT ON A 4.3 VORTEC ENGINE WITH A DUMB MANIFOLD DESIGN THAT GETS CROSSFIRE. I APPLY MY SILICONE ADHESIVE WITH A LITTLE OIL WHERE IT MEETS THE SPREADER TO LOCK IN THE MOISTURE.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things
