When I installed it, the plastic broke when I tapped it with my hand. It's made of very bad plastic, I'll ask Revain for a refund. I would not recommend for the price not worth $50.00.

Updated on 12/12/2020, the crack has grown! I installed it on my 2011 Silverado in June 2020 and it's already cracked. I doubt I'll buy another one, and instead I'll buy an industrial-grade plastic weld. This was a replacement for a cracked sun on my 2007 Silverado. As I bought a used truck I can't tell if this footpeg came with the truck but after much searching I found that this footpeg fits my footpeg due to the tread pattern. Check carefully to get an exact match. The hardest part of the installation was removing the damaged tread, which I ended up cutting off with wire cutters and a flat head screwdriver.
