I was looking for something to keep the edges of my woodworking tools sharp while I was in the country. I love these grinders/hones. Keeps knives sharp. More of a sharpener than a sharpener, but easy to use. So there is no reason to let the blades become blunt in the first place.

Wasn't happy when I found out it can't be sold in California because I found hidden cancer warnings in the description! You cannot sell anything that can cause a person to become seriously ill!

This is the best little knife sharpener I've ever used. I carry one in my purse to keep my pocket knife sharp. I also have one in the kitchen where I probably have 5 other knife sharpeners but this is the one I use the most. I've bought several and given them away.
